What is microblading?
This treatment works to fill in thin or sparse eyebrows. Using a semi-permanent tattoo technique, our special is able to mimic the appearance of hairs. The ink of this treatment will fade over time, meaning touch-ups will be necessary to maintain a bold appearance.
How is microblading different from permanent makeup?
Microblading inserts the ink into the skin, similar to a traditional tattoo. The difference between this treatment and permanent makeup is that the ink is not injected as deep as a normal tattoo This allows the ink to fade over time in case you would like to change the overall appearance of your eyebrows.
What can I expect?
During your appointment, your eyebrows will be traced by one of our specialists. Then, the ink they used will be made to match your natural hair color. The ink will be embedded under your skin to create the appearance of fine hairs. Most people compare the feeling of this process to that of eyebrow threading. After your microblading session, you are free to go about your normal schedule, though you are advised to stay out of the sun for the first few days.
About four to eight weeks after treatment, it is advised that you come in again for a touch-up appointment. This is done to make sure you are satisfied with your new brows. After this initial touch-up yearly maintenance appointments are recommended. The results of this treatment may last up to three years, though results will vary for each person.
